Sandy Messick, Regional Consultant – SE Colorado,  Colorado Library Consortium (CLiC)
Sandy began working in the fall of 2013 as the Southeast Regional Consultant for the Colorado  Library Consortium (CLiC).  For ten years prior to that, Sandy served as the director of a small, rural public library.  Before moving into the public library field, Sandy worked 20 years as an educator, grant administrator and Library Media Specialist in Kansas and Colorado's public schools.  She has served the larger library community as a member of many statewide committees and participated in numerous statewide projects.  Among those, Sandy was part of the committee that revised Colorado's Public Library Standards.  She served as a member of there hiring team for the Colorado Department of Education's Public Library Development Director.  She was highly involved with organizing Southeast Colorado's Spring Workshops, which eventually became a major component of CLiC's statewide professional development and continuing education program.
